One Guy, Many Voices:  David Nick, Pure Costa Rican Talent

David Nick might look just like any other Costa Rican teenager;  however, once you hear his voice, well, voices, you will be completely amazed.

The 19 year old who comes from a family of talented artists has an impressive talent.  His own voice is amazing and his impersonations of many famous singers is just as impressive.
David Nick has his own You Tube Channel and there you can see some of his videos.  Personally, I love "1 cantante, 20 voces."  Nevertheless, David Nick's own voice is just breathtaking.

You can see David Nick's amazing performances on Channel 7 (Sundays, 7 pm local time) on the very popular TV show "Tu Cara Me Suena."  He won the fourth show with his Adele impersonation.

Costa Rica is a little bit of everything.  When ticos really put forth effort, they make wonderful things.  Music is one of them.   Going to a theater to see an orchestra does not have to be boring.  I have always liked going to listen to our orchestras, youth, symphony, you name it.

However, it has always been very refreshing to see the Philharmonic Orchestra because of the wide variety of music they play.  One of my favorite is their “movie soundtrack concert,”  especially when they play the Star Wars theme song. I have also gone to see their Beatles concert and Rock concert.  They are always extraordinary.

The Philharmonic Orchestra of Costa Rica has a full schedule throughout the year, not only in theaters, but also offer free concerts along the country. Here you have the concerts they will be giving at theaters this 2017.  Tickets can be bought online.

I have also seen them at various shopping malls as well as Catholic churches.  It is really an opportunity not to miss.  Make sure you go to one or two of their concerts.  You will definitely not regret going to a "Filarmònica" concert.  I am pretty sure I will enjoy every single one of them.

Art in Costa Rica

Costa Rica is blessed in so many ways that it is difficult to count all of them.  However, we will try to do so in this post about Art in Costa Rica.

Singers,  Bands, and Others in Costa Rica

Fabrizio Walker:  Costa Rican Singer

A few years ago I decided to venture and go to a concert given by the Orquesta Filarmonica.  It was a concert to honor The Beatles.  Needless to say that I bought the ticket for the Melico Salazar Theater and, as usual, I bought a nosebleed seat.  Besides being very inexpensive, I do think that the best view and acoustics are there.

Anyway, everything was fantastic.  I did know that there was talent in Costa Rica, but I did not know how much talent there was.  I was particularly amazed by Fabrizio Walker’s voice.  He sang “Something”, OMW, what a voice.  Here is the link so you can see it too.
